I am a Year 4 student at Paparore School School in Northland, New Zealand. Whaea Deb is my teacher. My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

Planet report
Saturn
The planet I researched is Saturn. It is my favorite. Do you know why? Because I like the rings. The rings are over 170,000 miles across. The planet's color is yellowish brown. Saturn is the second largest planet.
It is also the sixth planet from the sun. The rings are made out of dust and ice. Saturn has lots of moons orbiting it. In fact it has over 82 moons.
Saturn is the only planet that can float on water. Saturn’ s centre is a hard rocky core.
The temperature on Saturn can get as low as -300F, so it is extremely cold there.
